Capturing you two in your element is MY biggest thrill. You bring the romance.
I'll bring the energy
Bellagio Fields is an all-in-one wedding venue in Sugarloaf, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, with on-site getting-ready space, a chapel, a cocktail hour patio, and a striking reception room. Its tall trees, open fields, and rolling hills behind the grounds create easy pockets of light for documentary wedding photography.
Julia and Hubert had a wonderful wedding day at Bellagio Fields, and they chose to get ready right on the property. The guys had their own house with beautiful natural light and great furniture, so we made their portraits in that room. Everything they needed was a short walk away, which kept the morning unhurried.
Before the day picked up speed, Julia and Hubert had a private first touch. It’s not quite a first look, but still a good chance to calm some butterflies and share a moment before the ceremony. There’s a beautiful corner in the on-site chapel where they could hold hands around the corner and read their private vows to each other. They went on to a Catholic mass ceremony off-site, then returned to Bellagio Fields for photos and cocktail hour.
The grounds are unassuming, but they have a lot to offer: tall trees, open fields, grass plains, and rolling hills behind. It’s easy to find cool pockets of light here, whether you want dramatic skies or a greener feel. We got all of our photos done and Julia and Hubert still joined most of their cocktail hour. The patio gave the whole thing an open atmosphere that suited early fall. The temperature was pure delight, and nobody felt crammed.
What mattered most to Julia and Hubert was spending time with their loved ones, not posing for a pile of pictures, and their venue choice shows it. Bellagio Fields gave them the balance to visit every table at the reception and say hi to everyone who came. Nothing makes me happier than shooting real moments like that, with people spending time with the guests they decided were worth celebrating one of the best days of their lives. This day was not a giant photo shoot and that was exactly perfect.

Yes. At a recent Bellagio Fields wedding, the guys had their own house with beautiful natural light and furniture, and we made their portraits right in that room. Getting ready on-site also keeps the morning calm and unhurried.
The Bellagio Fields grounds are unassuming but easy to work with: tall trees, open fields, grass plains, and rolling hills behind. Whether you want dramatic skies or a greener look, there’s light for it. The on-site chapel adds a quiet corner for private moments.
Yes, a private first touch works well at Bellagio Fields. At one wedding, the couple held hands around a corner of the on-site chapel and read private vows to each other. It’s not quite a first look, but it gives you an intimate moment together.
Look for a photographer who works comfortably with changing light and lets real moments unfold, since Bellagio Fields rewards documentary coverage over heavy posing. Marshall’s approach is candid and present, and many couples book both engagement and wedding coverage with him.
