Capturing you two in your element is MY biggest thrill. You bring the romance.
I'll bring the energy
Mindfulness is one of the most important things we believe you should have on your wedding day; being present in each moment on the big day so that you can truly experience the day without distraction.
The wedding day is filled with so many moments, it’s impossible to narrow it down to just 10 “Must Have” photos. Instead, we’ve grouped a category of photos that are meant to explain the importance/meaning of certain parts of the day, so when that day comes you can be mindful and in the moment for all of it.
Below, you’ll see our thoughts on why these moments are so important, and for the obvious ones, you’ll just hear us gush over how much we love them! These are some of the most beautiful moments on your wedding day.
Bridesmaids, groomsmen, close friends/family. They’ve likely all been with you for many years or even as far back as you can remember!
From the way your loved ones look at you while you get ready, to the fun silly moments throughout these hours, there are so many memories to capture. It’s a part of the day that is filled with optimistic jitters, loving smiles, and so many happy moments.
Getting ready is more than just mom and family helping you put on your dress. It’s hanging out with the guys, laughing with your girls, opening up gifts, and so much more.
The amount of candid shots you can get in these times of the day are the very reason we offer all day coverage, because none of these deserve to be missed! These all deserve to be a part of your love story.
What would a movie be if it was only scenes of the main actors talking? Context enhances the story, so all those pictures of the venue, the outside locations, the details you brought and the details that are already there. Leave nothing undocumented!
The looks that you get from each other during a first look are some of the most genuine, story telling moments you’ll get all day. These moments are unfiltered, unscripted, and best of all? Totally yours.
You’ll have these moments alone with each other, and capturing that feeling of “we get to enjoy the rest of our lives together” in the pictures makes for some of the best photographs.

Everyone reacts differently. From those jumping for joy in excitement, to the “strong softies” fighting back happy tears, this one’s a winner in our book.
I get told all the time how much the shot ends up being “so characteristic” to the personality, and I can’t personally think of a better compliment!
These moments are fun, silly, emotional, or a combination of all the above. But what’s important is remembering that feeling of pure joy knowing you just married your best friend, the love of your life. It’s very hard to describe this feeling to others who haven’t experienced it, but when you have pictures of you and your spouse in those moments, the feeling becomes tangible.
All of a sudden, you can show people a small glimpse of how it feels. And that’s a pretty amazing experience.
The happy tears are one of the biggest signs that you’re exactly where you need to be, celebrating with the people who bring you the most joy.
This is your squad.
Your crew.
The people you chose to be by your side the entire wedding day! That’s no small honor for your bridal party, and if you chose this wedding day family, chances are you’re going to have some wonderful interactions with them.
Yeah you’ll take some posed shots with them, but you’re also going to have so many unplanned moments with this group, it’s only fitting that the photographs tell the full story.
Let loose, have fun and show everyone why you picked these people to be with you both on your big day.
You’re both high off of the whirlwind of emotions from the ceremony that just happened, you’re ready to enter one of the biggest celebrations of your life, but first you’re going to share this intimate moment with each other.
We love first dances for many reasons, but one of the biggest ones is the complete, 100% undistracted fixation you two have on one another.
It’s no wonder this long celebrated tradition of a first dance continues to go unchanged, because even aside from all of the traditional meaning and symbolism it has, it’s just such a beautiful moment.
There can be smiles, tears, laughter, you name it. Your friends and family are all watching you, cheering you on. Sometimes you get amazing moments of mom and dad watching, sometimes it’s just the way you’re looking into each others’ eyes.
Whatever happens, this moment is purely wonderful.
The reactions of family members when a speech is given.
The smiles from friends, tears from family. It all makes for incredible story telling moments. The things happening in the background are often the very photos we seek out and hunt for.
Moments and reactions are constantly happening at every stage of the day. It’s so important to us that we capture as many of these as we can, because they help tell the entire story.
One day you’ll look back on your wedding day, and you’ll be able to remember how your bridesmaid laughed so hard she spilled her drink, or you’ll remember the look on your parents’ face when they watched you take your first dance.
No love story is complete without these moments. That’s why we make sure they’re there.
The reception is one of our personal favorite times for candid moments.
Usually in this portion of the day, people are at their most relaxed and comfortable. Everyone is letting loose, all your guests are dancing and getting crazy. (Usually thanks to the help of the open bar)
During this portion of the day, we love to go out of our way to get some very intimate candid shots. You won’t even see us, and we’ll be getting pictures of you on a crowded dance floor, still fixated on one another.
Speeches are great, but also capturing reactions to speeches makes it that much better.
At the end of it all, your wedding day is filled with so many more moments than you could possibly plan for. You won’t have a plan for every single detail, and no photo list you could think up could possibly account for everything you want to remember forever. These moments all matter, and there are so many beautiful ones. These are some of our favorites, but on your wedding day, we just want you to be undistracted for each moment.
Because all that really matters is that you’re present in every single one.
