If you know me, you know I love nature. I could spend hours up in the woods climbing rocks and trees, or simply sitting by the side of a stream listening to the water trickle along. Exploring has always been a large part of my life, whether it be miles away or in my own backyard; every day is an adventure.

Well these two felt the same way, and even more so about each other. They had asked me if Jim Thorpe was too far away to drive for the shoot, and I immediately replied with no way – I know how beautiful Jim Thorpe can be, and I knew it would make for some gorgeous shots for their couples session. What I didn’t know however, was the place they were taking me to. Switchback Trail, off the side of a small road, I never would’ve even seen it if they didn’t direct me to it. It was absolutely gorgeous, and a perfect spot to capture their love. When I asked why they picked this location, they replied “It’s just a place we love to come to together. Jim Thorpe is beautiful, and we love this little trail whether riding bikes or on foot, it’s fun to do with each other”.

It really was a beautiful place, and I hope to get up there with my own bike real soon! I hope you enjoy the photos, and stay tuned for more posts!
