Capturing you two in your element is MY biggest thrill. You bring the romance.
I'll bring the energy
Formerly known as Iron Lakes, the rebrand to The Club at Twin Lakes has brought a clean, polished energy to a classic Allentown staple. Amalia and Tom’s day was a special one for me to document as well. Amalia and I have been friends since the first grade, so getting to see her walk down the aisle after knowing her through all those years from elementary to middle school was an incredible experience.
The venue acted as the perfect canvas for their celebration. The staff at Twin Lakes keeps everything running smooth, which let us focus entirely on the energy of the day. Between the sentimental ceremony overlooking the lakes and the high-hype reception, it was a day that felt both intentional and deeply personal.
Whether it’s at Twin Lakes or any other venue, we prioritize those unscripted moments that happen when everyone is comfortable and present. Because of my long history with Amalia, there was an extra layer of ease to the portraits and candids throughout the day! The property is expansive, so we took full advantage of the golf carts to zip out to the best portrait spots quickly, ensuring they didn’t miss too much of their cocktail hour.
We lean into the natural grit and textured landscapes of the course to make sure the gallery feels honest. One of the nice things about a spot like this is you can get those elements of “high class” with the large windows and country club architecture, but if you take a golf cart or walk a little distance away, you get a ton of nature to shoot in as well. It’s so versatile!
Don’t be afraid to hop on a golf cart and head out to the further reaches of the course. The staff is great about getting you to the best locations, and it opens up a massive variety of backdrops. For Amalia and Tom, this allowed us to hit multiple spots, including some hidden tree lines and willow trees, without taking them away from their guests for too long!
The sunset views here are phenomenal, especially with the way the light reflects off the water. If you look at the gallery, you’ll see the golden tones we got during their sunset session. It’s the perfect time to step away for ten minutes to breathe and capture some grounded frames as the day transitions into the party.
Everything at Twin Lakes is smooth and professional, making it a very low-stress environment. Because the ballroom and ceremony spaces are such a clean canvas, you can really make the aesthetic your own. Whether you’re going for something rustic or more modern, the property handles it all while keeping the vibe focused on the people.
This day would have never come together the way it did for these two if it weren’t for the awesome team behind all the details! Here is a list of the vendors who took part of the day, and a link to their website if you want to go check them out!
