Holly Hedge Estate Wedding Photos | New Hope, PA (2026)

Holly Hedge Estate is easily one of the most stunning properties in New Hope. I’ve had the pleasure of shooting here multiple times, and Hillary and Alex’s day was a perfect example of why this venue is a favorite. Their day was filled with emotion—from a private vow reading after their first look to a high-energy reception – and every corner of this property offered a new, beautiful backdrop.

Gardens, Ivy, and Creative Night Shots

There are so many places to shoot at Holly Hedge, but a few highlights for me were the gardens near the fountain. Having that private space for their vows was incredibly sweet to document. Even though it rained and we had to shift the ceremony indoors, the stone walls and rustic vibe of the interior looked amazing! I’m also obsessed with the old metal gate covered in ivy—it’s a classic Holly Hedge shot that never gets old.

To wrap up the night, we snuck away for some creative OCF (off-camera flash) shots. The setting there is unreal for nighttime portraits, and because I have my lighting down to a science, we knocked these out in just 5 minutes so they could get back to the party!

Consider Private Vows and a First Look!

With so many amazing photo spots, maximize the amount of time you get to spend in them! The garden near the fountain is tucked away just enough to feel intimate. If you’re doing a first look, I highly recommend staying out there for some private vows. It’s quiet, beautiful, and makes for some of the most emotional photos of the entire day.

Don’t Stress about the Rain!

If the weather doesn’t cooperate, the indoor backup at Holly Hedge is one of the best in Bucks County. The historic stone and wood and stone give off a warm, moody vibe that looks high-end in photos – especially with a little professional lighting to make the details pop.

The “5-Minute” Night Session

Tip 3 The architecture at Holly Hedge looks completely different once the sun goes down. We don’t need to spend half an hour away from your guests; just give me 5 minutes near the stone walls or the gate after dark. That “nighttime glow” is the perfect way to finish off your wedding gallery.
