Blue Mountain Ski Resort Wedding Photos | Palmerton, PA (2026)

Brittany and Pat are easily one of my favorite couples to date! They are exactly the kind of energy I’m always looking for. They’re deeply personable, filled with literal joy, and just madly in love. These two used every single square inch of their day to be present and made every moment count!

I seriously couldn’t have scripted this day if I tried. From Pat hiding under Brittany’s dress during family photos to those tear-filled eyes while they danced in front of my camera! It was just a total vibe.

Why Blue Mountain is one of the BEST Wedding Venues

Honestly, what I love about Blue Mountain is that there are so many different spots that allow these unscripted moments to just happen naturally. You’ve got these little hidden holes in the treeline that are perfect for a private dance or an intimate moment away from the crowd. Then you have the grand views that make an insane backdrop for basically anything!

The ballrooms are killer too. They’ve got these golden chandeliers and glowing lights with floor-to-ceiling windows. It looks perfect inside during the day and even better at night! We even did a sparkler exit on the terrace of the Grand Vista Ballroom (I’m pretty sure that’s the name lol) and it was a total showstopper!

A Memorable Mountainside Wedding Day

The most memorable part of the whole night had to be the gender reveal at the very end. They found out they were having another baby girl and the energy from the family was amazing! It was just the perfect way to cap off a day that was already full of emotion.

Ultimately, Blue Mountain is the place to be rain or shine! The staff was extremely helpful and made sure Brittany and Pat had everything they needed the entire time. If you’re looking for a venue that gives you mountain views and a staff that actually cares, this is it!

Chase the Light in the Treeline!

You don’t need to be at the very peak to get killer shots here. There are these little pockets of light along the treeline right near the lodge that are perfect for those intimate, quiet moments. It’s where you get that glowy, romantic look without having to hike a mile, like you see in the photos later on in this post!

The Terrace is a Sparkler Game-Changer

Seriously, if you’re in the Grand Vista Ballroom use that terrace for some sparkler photos like Brittany and Pat did! They didn’t want to make everyone “exit” But still wanted sparkler photos with their bridal party, and the terrace made that happen!

Don’t Stress the Weather

One thing I noticed is the staff is on it when it comes to the “what if it rains” plan. Plus, those floor-to-ceiling windows mean we still get all that natural light even if we’re stuck inside. It’s one of the few spots where a rainy day still looks high-end in photos!
